How to crop a WebP image
- Open the WebP picture.
- Drag the crop box or type an exact size.
- Press Crop Picture, choose a quality, and download the WebP.
Real WebP output, on every browser
When you choose WebP, the saved file is WebP — never a PNG with the wrong name. If your browser cannot encode WebP itself, a small encoder (about a quarter of a megabyte) loads once and runs on your device.
Quality versus size
WebP’s quality scale is not the same as JPG’s, so the three presets are tuned per format. Balanced is the sensible default; Smaller is fine for thumbnails and previews.
